ARTIST INFO

DEUTSCHE & ALBANER

Simply the name of the Stuttgart based girls already shows what they’re about : An explosive mixture where everyone should count themselves lucky seeing them behind the decks.
Daniela, the German part of the duo, has been playing records for more than ten years in Stuttgart’s hottest clubs – the homebase of Deutsche und Albaner. Talking about her artistical background, she´s not only coming from the musical side, but also made a university degree in fine arts. Daniela has been and still is very succesfull at international exhibitions.
Linda, representing the Albanian Counterpart of the team, quickly established herself in the nightlife scene of Stuttgart when she came from her country in 1993 to live in Germany. Today she works for one of the most important event and artist management agencies in this country – 0711 entertainment – where she leads the organisation of venues.
It was only a question of time until these impulsive and temperamental girls met and founded together the Deutsche und Albaner DJ team.
Shortly they rised regionally to the most booked dj team but when they started to work with Martin Eyerer – one of the most demanded producers at the moment – the whole thing went off totally. Already the first remix for “Eyerer&Chopstick – get alive” they released on Great Stuff Records received massive support by DJ’s like Coburn, The Hacker, Tom Pooks, Toni H or Tomcraft. Also the second production, a remix for “Eyerer&Namito – keep this pace”, coming out in Australia and UK at Ministry Of Sound, in Germany on the high profile label Multicolor is now getting brilliant feedback.
End of the year, Deutsche und Albaner´s first single is to be released on Martin Eyerer´s label Session Deluxe. As remixers DJ Friction and demanded Kompakt artist Joachim Spieth put their hands on the track what guarantees support from all sides for sure. Also a mix cd, presenting the furious sets of the girls, will come out next year on Session Deluxe and this will not be the only reason for the inherent clubtour they will do then.
