When local electronique hero Mr Oizo heard Uffie’s breathy Lolita flow and witnessed first hand her insane delivery it was a no-brainer of a match up – the kind of chance encounter from which magic was always likely to emerge.

Although a total newcomer to the game – a mere ten months ago dreams of becoming a fashion designer of ballerina were far more pressing – Ed Banger’s own DJ Feadz convinced Uffie to rhyme over his beats and ‘Pop The Glock’ - the doper than dope B Side to debut single ‘Ready To Uff’ – was born.
