A tall red-haired guy, Vicarious Bliss signed to Ed Banger records in 2005 with his insprired mix of heavy electro and pop melody. The 'Theme From Vicarious Bliss' EP was the label's third release. Quickly playlisted by DJs such as Erol Alkan, 2many DJs, Mark Moore & Boris Dluglosh, the track (& it's killer remixes from justice & Lifelike) was picked up by UK Radio 1 with Rob Da Bank proclaiming it 'Tune Of The Month' for November. Over in Germany, the track was voted in at number 2 in the DJ propaganda charts whilst great playlisting feedback continued to come back from most European territories and Japan. In demand as a remixer, Vicarious Bliss has remixed and reworked N*E*R*D, Mystery Jets and Ladytron amongst others - a quick nod to his rework of Daisy Daisy's 'Michelle Plays Pingpong' that was shown beaucoup d'amour in '06.

He made his producing debut in fall '06 to oversee the debut album from I Love UFO, out on Air's label, Recordmakers, this january.

There's no let up with DJ bookings either and the last couple of years has seen Vicarious Bliss play over 60 dates round Europe in clubs and festivals.

Regular appearances in Paris culminated in him being voted 'DJ of the month' by 'A Nous Paris' magazine and he has recently started the 'Zero' one-nighter bringing chaos to hip venue the Fleche d'Or each month in Paris.

The groundwork now done, the next chapter can unfold - new tracks with the rest of the crew on the 'Best Of' Ed Banger out in febuary, a new Ed Rec 12" to follow with an album for later in the year.
